Manager of First Impressions (Receptionist)

To serve our expanding client base, Harbor is seeking an experienced Manager of First Impressions (Receptionist). This position is responsible for organizing and coordinating front desk office operations and procedures. The successful candidate for this position will work closely with our management and administration team to collaborate on internal projects, including marketing and HR support (staff support, projects, etc.). He or she will look to the future for change and continuous improvement opportunities and assures that our client interactions are positive and are always focused on solving the client’s problems. Interaction and support with other employees are a high priority for us.

Required:

  • High school diploma, some college preferred
  • Demonstrated understanding of the importance of first impressions
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite programs
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills

Environmental Senior Project Manager

Harbor’s Senior Project Managers have extensive environmental experience, preferrably within the consulting field and are responsible for providing technical expertise to clients and staff in the areas of compliance assurance, permitting, auditing, and due diligence, as well as actively marketing and promoting Harbor’s efforts.

Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree, Environmental Science, Chemistry, Engineering, or related degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years of experience in environmental permitting and compliance as either a consultant or senior EHS staff member
  • Consulting experience preferred
  • Minimum of three (3) years project management experience
  • Able to work well with a team or independently
  • Excellent time management, communication, technical writing, and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Travel will be required
Civil Engineer

Harbor’s Project Engineers manage preliminary and design projects, manage construction projects with engineering oversight, develop business and serve clients’ needs.

Required:

  • B.S. in Engineering, Civil Discipline preferred
  • Registered engineering intern or professional engineering license in Arkansas strongly preferred
  • Two (2) or more years’ consulting or industry experience, regulatory permitting experience valued
  • Minimum of one (1) year project management experience
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Excellent technical writing, verbal, computer, and organizational skills
  • Must have experience in civil engineering design; site development design is preferred
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D and Microsoft Suite, and/or other design software
Systems Developer

Harbor’s mid-level systems developer will have programming experience to work closely with our digital solutions division. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with both design and execution of configuration within the Intelex Platform which is SQL based. They will also work with internal programmers and project managers to configure modules for our clients’ needs, including Microsoft BI configuration and Oracle based systems.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or three (3) to five (5) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education or experience.
  • Strong proficiency with development and understanding of databases
  • Skilled at optimizing large, complicated queries
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in full Microsoft Office suite, especially with Excel and/or Microsoft BI
  • Strong sense of urgency and problem solving
  • Working knowledge of HTML, JSON, Python, VBA, Oracle
Senior Safety Project Manager

Harbor’s Senior Project Manager must have safety and/or industrial hygiene experience, preferably within the consulting field. The Senior Project Manager is responsible for providing technical expertise to clients and staff in the areas of program development, compliance assurance, auditing, and on-site assistance, as well as actively marketing and promoting the company. Excellent communication and project management skills are key to this position.

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety or related degree preferred
  • Minimum of five (5) years’ experience in increasing safety experience either as a consultant or senior EHS staff member
  • Project management experience desired
  • Able to work well within a team or independently
  • Excellent time management, communication, technical writing, and proof-reading skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Travel will be required

Senior EHS Project Manager

Mechanical Designer/Draftsman

To serve our expanding client base, Harbor is seeking an experienced mechanical draftsman looking to grow both personally and professionally in a fast paced, small business atmosphere. The individual must have experience in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing design, preferably within the consulting field. As a member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise to clients and staff in the areas of MEP design and CAD drafting, as well as other tasks as required. Excellent communication and time management skills are key to this position. 

Required:

  • A minimum of 20 credit hours in computer-aided drafting from an accredited institution(s) 
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience in computer aided drafting of architectural and/or engineering plans 
  • Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Word, and Excel 
  • Experience interpreting manufacturer’s product data for design verification 
  • Experience with shop drawing and submittal review is a plus 
  • Excellent time management, communication, technical detailing, and proof-reading skills 
  • A willingness to cross-train 
  • Ability to work in a team environment
